Benzema rejects Mourinho’s offer to join Manchester United

Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has rejected Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho’s offer to join the team, saying that he is happy with Real Madrid and hopes to stay there for many years, Al-Resalah newspaper reported yesterday.


Benzema had previously said of Mourinho: “He is an exceptional person. We had tenuous relations at the beginning of joining Real Madrid, but our relations improved very much through time.”

He added that he does not wish to join any other club because there is a good atmosphere at Real Madrid.
