MMM Nigeria freezes all confirmed accounts
Members of the famous money-doubling scheme, Mavrodi Mundial Moneybox, MMM have been thrown into panic and great confusion, Tuesday, following the message from the ponzi scheme freezing all confirmed Mavros, otherwise known as money due for withdrawal for one month.

This means, all the accounts of members who are due to be paid after having ‘provided help’ (PH) to another person since the last month have been frozen and hence, have no access to request for payment, known as ‘Get Help’ (GH) until after one month.

All members woke up with the shock message displayed on the screen as soon as they logged into their accounts.

Giving reasons for freezing the Mavros, the scheme said it is experiencing heavy workload and want to deal with the attacks coming from the country’s mass media. It also said it wants to prevent hitches in the coming new year hence, the freezing of the access to requesting for payments even when such person is due for payment.

MMM Nigeria freezes all confirmed accounts
The message read thus:

“One-Month Freezing of Confirmed Mavros”

“Dear members!”

“As usual, in the New Year season the System is experiencing heavy workload. Moreover, it has to deal with the constant frenzy provoked by the authorities in the mass media.”

“The things are still going well; the participants feel calm; everyone gets paid – as you can see, there haven’t been any payment delays or other problems yet – but!.. it is better to avoid taking risk.:-)) (Moreover, there are almost three weeks left to the New Year.)”

“Hence, on the basis of the above mentioned, from now on all confirmed Mavro will be frozen for a month.”

“The reason for this measure is evident. We need to prevent any problems during the New Year season, and then, when everything calms down, this measure will be cancelled. (Which we will definitely do.:-))”

“We hope for your understanding, Administration”

Must Read! Atiku reveals how Obasanjo wanted to remain in power forever

Obasanjo & Atiku
The former vice president has insisted that ex-president Olusegun Obasanjo was pushing to be a lifetime presidency and not just a third term in office, as he would have many believe.

Chief Olusegun Obasanjo pushed to be president for all his life time, says Atiku Abubakar.

Atiku said this in an interview with a quarterly magazine published by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Zero Tolerance.

According to The Punch, the former vice-president said, initially, it was assumed that the plan was to modify the constitution so that Obasanjo could serve a third, four-year term as president.

He, however, said the aspect of tenure limitation was carefully removed so that Obasanjo could be President for life.

When asked why he and Obasanjo were at loggerheads towards the end of their tenure, he said, “My offence was that I disagreed with him on the amendment of the constitution to remove tenure/term limits or what was popularly called the ‘third term agenda’.

“In fact, he sent the then Attorney-General and Prof. Jerry Gana to my office to bring the draft amendments to the constitution. After going through (them), I found out that tenure limits had been removed. In other words, he could be President for life.

“I then asked them that ‘if I send you to the President, can you deliver this message?’ They said yes. I said ‘go and tell him I will not support it and (I) will fight it’.”

Atiku said due to his disagreement with Obasanjo, the ex-president decided to tag him as a corrupt person.

The former vice-president said the then Chairman of the EFCC, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, accused him of corruption but later came to him to apologise.

He said: “When he came to ask me for forgiveness, I said if you want me to forgive you, Nuhu, go to the same television stations where you said I was corrupt and say you now (have) realised that I am not corrupt.

“Then he said ‘sir, you have forgiven so many people who have offended you publicly without them going to TV stations to apologise to you’ and I said, ‘your case is different because first of all, I helped to found the EFCC’.

“I was instrumental to your appointment, so, I believe I have contributed to your development and this is how you are paying me back. In any case, he kept on apologising and I said, ‘okay, no problem. That closed the chapter.”

Atiku denied media reports that a United States Senate report accused him of laundering $40m in the US between 2000 and 2008.

The former vice-president confirmed that he did transfer money to the US but it was not illegal.

He added, “It was an allegation which was not proved. It was my legitimate money which I transferred to the US; there was nothing (wrong) about it.

More so, I was not indicted in that report. They only said suspicious funds but I proved before the Senate committee that they were not suspicious.”

Atiku explained that the accusations emanated from his dealings with a Louisiana congressman, William Jefferson.

He explained that Jefferson had approached him for a communications project but he referred the American to the minister of communications.

Atiku said the US lawmaker collected $100,000 from a woman under the pretext of using it to bribe him (Atiku).

The ex-vice-president said he, however, rejected the money which he described as too little for a man of his status.

He said the Federal Bureau of Investigation subsequently searched his wife’s US home but nothing incriminating was found.

Atiku said, “Apparently, I didn’t know he (Jefferson) had duped a lady and collected marked money from her in my name. Unknown to him, the FBI were on his trail. But, of course, there was no way he could give me money because what was $100,000 to me?

“Eventually, my wife’s residence was searched and nothing was found but when his residence was searched, of course, the money was found there and he was convicted. I was not even called as a witness.”

Beware of Expired rice allover Nigerian markets

Bags of Rice
There are reports that expired foreign rice smuggled into the country through Seme, Idiroko, Shaki and Chikanda borders may have flooded Nigerian markets, Leadership reports.

Nigeria shares major borders with Benin Republic at Seme Border (Lagos), Idiroko (Ogun State), Shaki (Oyo State) and Chikanda (Kwara State).

The rice has been exposed to poor storage facilities, rain, weevils and other unhygienic forms of storage, thereby making the commodity toxic and not fit for human consumption anymore.

It was gathered that a larger percentage of rice imported into the Francophone country were meant for sale in Nigeria.

However, the rice was smuggled into the country through methods that include pouring grains of rice into various crevices of vehicles.

The product are also believed to be conveyed in open wooden canoes across creeks and waterways with large quantity of unhygienic waters splashing on them.

Recall that the comptroller-general of customs, Hameed Ali warned Nigerians to desist from patronizing rice smuggled through land borders. Ali at a joint news conference on illegal rice importation to Nigeria on Tuesday, October 4, in Abuja said 99 per cent of rice smuggled through the
land borders is not fit for human consumption. He said NAFDAC samples have showed that smuggled rice through the borders was unfit for human consumption.

Nigeria Police recover N2.7m bribe money from Assistant Commissioner of Police
The Nigeria Police Force Complaint Response Unit (CRU) said it has resolved 324 cases and recovered N2.7 million bribe from an Assistant Commissioner of Police in one of the states after a complaint was made through a telephone call.

This was contained in the third quarter report of the unit released on Thursday, October 13th, by Acting Assistant Commissioner of Police and Head of CRU in Abuja, ACP Abayomi Shogunle

The bribe money was recovered from the ACP after the case was referred to the X-Squad for necessary action in line with the directive issued by the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Ibrahim Idris, NPM, mni that X-Squad be included.

Shogunle said necessary disciplinary procedures are ongoing against the officer involved in the unacceptable conduct. See the full report below:

In line with its mandate of receiving and resolving cases of police professional misconduct, the Complaint Response Unit (CRU) of the Nigeria Police Force has resolved 324 cases out of a total of 405 complaints made against the police by members of the public between July 1st, and September 30th, 2016. 51 out of cases reported during period under review were found to be false while 30 cases
are still pending.

Rivers Police Command tops the state ranking with a total number of 78 cases, followed by Lagos with 72 and FCT-Abuja with 48 cases. The Q3 report shows that over half of the complaints against the police came from four state commands - Rivers, Lagos, FCT-Abuja and Anambra which accounts for 55.06% of complaints during the period under review.

No single complaint was reported against the police in six state commands - Bauchi, Jigawa, Katsina, Kebbi, Osun and Sokoto. Kebbi state remains the only command with no complaint made against the police since the inception of the CRU in November, 2015.

Professional misconduct tops the complaint distribution category with 154 entries, followed by demanding money for bail with 144 entries. More complaints were received via phone call – 294 cases, while WhatsApp – 55, Twitter – 20, email – 19, Facebook – 6, SMS – 2, BBM – 1 and 8 cases reported via others (petition letters, media publications).

Nigeria Police recover N2.7m bribe money from Assistant Commissioner of Police
A copy of the report available at the NPF website http://www.npf.gov.ng/images/POLICE_CRU_2016_Q3_REPORT.pdf shows that the sum of Two million, Seven hundred and Fifty thousand Naira bribe money was recovered from an Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) serving in one of the State commands after a complaint was made to the CRU through a telephone call.

Necessary disciplinary procedures are ongoing against the officer involved in the unacceptable conduct just as the suspect arrested in respect of the case upon which the bribe money was collected has since been handed over to the relevant Government agency for prosecution for the offence that necessitated the arrest of the suspect.

The bribe money was recovered from the ACP after the case was referred to the X-Squad for necessary action in line with the directive issued by the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Ibrahim Idris, NPM, mni that X-Squad be included as part of CRU responding agents.

The new inclusion of X-Squad as one of CRU responding agents in addition to State Provost Marshals, OC SIB, Control-Room demonstrates the IGP’s determination in ensuring more effective response to
cases of alleged police professional misconduct nationwide.

According to Ag. ACP Abayomi Shogunle, Head of CRU who signed the 2016 Q3 Report, the nationwide sharp reduction in complaints against the police during the period under review is linked to the fact that Nigerian Police officers are becoming more professional in carrying out their duties as a result of capacity training programmes, the zero tolerance of the current police leadership to all forms of professional misconduct and the police awareness that the public can now easily report unsatisfactory police conducts.

The report states that in line with international best practices of building police-public trust, monitoring safeguards are in place to ensure protection of human rights during policing operations nationwide and that more collaboration activities are scheduled with stakeholder – local and international groups in the
last quarter of this year.

In order to increase the level of awareness about the CRU, IGP Ibrahim Idris has approved the production of CRU information handbills/flyers in local languages (Hausa, Igbo, Yoruba) and same would be distributed to all Local Government Area in Nigeria this October.

Shocking: Nigeria First Lady Aisha Buhari Says She May Not Vote for Husband next election

President Buhari & First Lady Aisha Buhari
Nigeria's president is probably wishing his wife had kept quiet. In a candid interview with the BBC , Aisha Buhari revealed Friday that she may not back her husband, President Muhammadu Buhari, if he stands for re-election in 2019.

The president won a historic victory in 2015 after campaigning on a platform to stamp out Nigeria's endemic corruption problem. But on Friday the first lady suggested that her husband's administration had been hijacked and that he was not in control of appointing his own officials.

"The president does not know 45 out of 50, for example, of the people he appointed," she told the BBC. "I don't know them either, despite being his wife of 27 years."

She said that these officials had been "sitting down in their homes folding their arms, only for them to be called to come and head an agency or a ministerial position" in Buhari's government.

"A lot of people have been coming ... to tell him that things are not going the way they should," she said. "If it continues like this, I'm not going to be part of any [re-election] movement again."

Buhari, who will be aged 76 at the next election, has not announced whether he plans to stand again.

Asked whether her husband was still in control of Nigeria's government, Aisha Buhari told the BBC:

"That is left for the people to decide."

She would not say who she thought was responsible for hijacking the administration, saying only that "you will know them if you watch television."

Asked whether her husband knew how she felt, she added: "Yeah, he knows, he knows."

At 45, Aisha Buhari was just a teenager when her husband became Nigeria's leader for the first time, ruling as a dictator between 1983 and 1985.

He returned to power last year, his historic election being the first time power has peacefully changed hands since Nigeria gained independence in 1960.

Under his government, the militant group Boko Haram has continued to lose territory, and on Thursday 21 of the Chibok girls were released after more than two years in captivity. But low oil prices have plunged Africa's biggest producer into a recession.

Super Eagles escape gunshots upon return from Zambia
The Super Eagles of Nigeria returned into the country on Sunday night, October 9, amidst violence at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport where fully armed unknown gunmen were waiting to arrest the League Management Company (LMC) chairman Shehu Dikko.

Dikko was part of the delegation that led the Eagles to Ndola where the Super Eagles defeated the Chipolopolo of Zambia 2 – 1.

Two men who were in mufti claiming to be police officers stated that they were from the Jos police command, stressing that they have been given the order to arrest Dikko who is also the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) vice chairman.

Our correspondent learnt that the acclaimed police officers failed to present identity cards or warrants to back their presence at the airport.

However, Dikko was said to be having a discussion with the Super Eagles’ players, and all efforts by the security agents to arrest him proved abortive.

The unknown men decided to sho ot sporadically into the air when journalists, NFF officials and members of the club owners accosted them.

The Super Eagles players were hurriedly ushered into their bus before being driven off for the safety of their lives.

“It was hell last night for us as these two men just appeared from no where claiming they were police officers. They even threatened to shoot us, and we said they should go ahead, but they later left after shooting into the air,” a journalist reports.

The Super Eagles media personnel Toyin Ibitoye also confirmed the incident, but quickly added that he was not at the scene when it happened.

“Yes, but I was not around the place as I was at the place where we were offloading our bags, but I was later told of what happened,” he said.

All players will now return to their respective clubs but will return for the in November for their next game against the Desert Foxes of Algeria who were held to a 1 – 1 draw by Cameroon.

Nigeria top CAF qualifying Group B with 3 points, followed by Algeria and Cameroon who have one point each. Zambia are fourth with no point.

President Buhari to authorise sale of two presidential aircraft
President Muhammadu Buhari has given approval for the sale of two presidential aircraft, a Falcon 7x executive jet and Hawker 4000 from the Presidential Air Fleet, PAF.

This was in the fulfilment of his 2015 election campaign promises of selling off many of the airplanes to reduce cost if elected as president.

More of the aircraft would also be sold in the coming days. Recall that Controversy had trailed the promise
in the past as to whether the president would live up to his words.

Presidency sources confirmed that PAF contains 10 aircrafts which affected the nation’s revenue.

The aircraft included Boeing Business Jet (Boeing 737-800 or AirForce One), one Gulfstream 550, one
Gulfstream V (Gulfstream 500), two Falcons 7X, one Hawker Sidley 4000, two AgustaWestland AW 139 helicopters and two AgustaWestland AW 101 helicopters.

In readiness to dispose the machines, the presidency yesterday put out some advertorial, announcing the sales.

Reacting afterwards to the authenticity of the advertorials, the Senior Special Assistant on media and publicity to president Buhari, Mallam Grana Shehu said that indeed, the president made the approval for the sale.

He recalled that it was in line with the APC election campaign promises in 2015, stressing that the development would help save more money for the country.

“The newspaper advertisements for the sale of two Presidential aircraft, a Falcon 7x executive jet and Hawker 4000 were duly authorised by the Presidency.

“This is in line with the directive of President Muhammadu Buhari that aircraft in the Presidential air fleet be reduced to cut down on waste.

“When he campaigned to be President, the then APC candidate Muhammadu Buhari, if you recall, promised to look at the presidential air fleet with view to cutting down on waste.

“His directive to a government committee on this assignment is that he liked to see a compact and reliable aircraft for the safe airlift of the President, the Vice President and other government officials that go on special missions.

“This exercise is by no means complete.

“I am sure the Commander of the Presidential air fleet will any time from now, call you to a ceremony at which he will hand over some other aircraft to the Airforce for their operations”, Shehu explained in a statement yesterday.

Recession: NNPC warns Nigeria’s oil & gas reserves running out

Group Managing Director NNPC, Mr. Maikanti Baru,
The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, yesterday, painted a gloomy outlook for Nigeria’s economic fortunes, as it disclosed that the country’s crude oil and gas reserves were fast depleting.

The NNPC in a statement in Abuja, therefore, begged oil and gas exploration companies, professionals and other stakeholders to focus on increasing the nation’s oil and gas reserve base to match national aspirations to increase oil production.

Group Managing Director of the NNPC, Mr. Maikanti Baru, who disclosed this when the Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists, NAPE, hosted him in Abuja, also expressed readiness
of the NNPC to partner with stakeholders in the oil and gas industry to grow the nation’s fast depleting reserves in order to increase productivity in the petroleum sector.

He said: “Our national gas demand forecast to year 2020, domestic plus export, indicates a rapid growth to 15 billion Standard Cubic Feet per day (bscfd), meaning current reserves level can only sustain that production for 35 years, if we do not increase the 2bscfd gas reserves base which require three trillion cubic feet (tcf) to replace production yearly.”

It was also revealed that the country’s drive for industrialization risks being truncated, as Baru stated that the country’s aspirations were to increase oil production to four million barrels per day and meet gas demand of 15 billion standard cubic feet per day, bscfd, by 2020, required for industrialization and consumption.
He further lamented that less than three per cent of all oil wells drilled in the Niger Delta Basin, both onshore and swamp, were deeper than 15,000 feet, adding that a greater number of these wells had not gone beyond the 10,000 feet as a high pressure regime seemed to be a limiting factor.

However, he stated that “some of our earlier drilled non-commercial holes could be turned around if we deploy requisite technologies; we need to change our perspective of risk as technology is advancing.”

Baru further explained that the 2016 national average oil production of 1.9 million barrels was low, partly due to oil infrastructure vandalism.

He stressed the need for stakeholders to share data and use common available resources to reduce cost of operations in the area of rig-sharing, vessel sharing and synergy in projects development, adding that this had
become even expedient in this era of low oil prices and security challenges.

On frontier exploration, Baru said the NNPC was progressing in exploration efforts in the Chad Basin, the Benue trough and other frontier basins to shore up the reserve base of the country.

In his own presentation, NAPE President, Mr. Nosa Omorodion, said the association was ready to support NNPC in its drive to grow reserves towards increased production in all the frontier basins.

FG decides to use Employment to fight Insurgency
The Nigerian federal government has decided to approach the fight against insurgency in the Niger Delta with a new method. In partnership with New Era Communication Limited, the FG says it will create 31,000 jobs annually to take restive youths off the streets.

Mr Dennis Chukwu who is the project director of Graduate Internship Scheme (GIS), revealed this during a three-day workshop tagged: ‘Career development entrepreneurship skills’ organized by the federal ministry of finance in Yenagoa, Bayelsa state.

Mrs Josephine Chukwu, who represented Mr Dennis, the project director said: “The intention of government is to ensure that youths depend less on white collar jobs that make them sit tight, agitating for resource control without thinking of other options if they don’t get it.

“We want to open their eyes to be self reliant or employable rather than depend on government to employ them, and in a way tackling the rising wave of insurgency in the country, which is not profitable to government
and the society.

“So, the essence of this programme is to help them think outside the box and see that they do not need white collar jobs to succeed.”

Mr Idris Sodiya who was another facilitator at the training explained that the programme which started 10 years ago has now being revamped to help more youths get off the street and stay away from militancy.

Sodiya also said that 31, 000 participants out of 41, 000 are exiting the scheme to become self-employed and employers of labour.

Meanwhile, a militant group known as the Niger Delta Greenland Justice Mandate (NDJM) bombed a major pipeline belonging to the Nigeria Petroleum Development Company on Thursday, September 29 in Delta state.

In a statement released by the militant group by its self-styled Gen Aldo Agbalaja, the group said the attack was a warning to soldiers in the region to desist from their Operation Crocodile Smile operation.

IPOB responds to Buhari over his final verdict for Biafra: 'You have no choice in this matter'

President Buhari
The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has replied President Muhammadu Buhari on his final verdict for the referendum for Biafra independence.

Speaking with the journalists after his returning from a one-week working visit to the USA, Buhari has ruled out any chance of the IPOB to get a referendum of their own.

However, the group in a statement signed by Victoria. O. C. Agangan, said that the president by this singular act has exposed his fears, because it is no longer a fable but reality that Biafra is not far-fetched.

“Look here, Mr President, you have no choice in the matter, Biafra is on the move already and must be restored. If you think Biafrans are not worthy of a referendum, that peace that has deserted Nigeria since your fraudulent ascension to Aso Rock, will continue to elude your British creation ,” the statement reads.

“How can Buhari not see that even in chains and cell, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu controls the oars? He clearly has the peoples mandate and there is nothing you can do about it. He has led by example and has won over the heart of millions all over the world, including non Biafrans.

“This was evident in the way and manner the Free Nnamdi Kanu was launched all over the world, with Biafrans at home obeying the sit-at-home order.

“The trigger-happy soldiers were disappointed as they were denied blood to spill away as usual on September 23, 2016.”

The IPOB further added that Buhari must understand that Biafrans are not begging for referendum but are poised to take our freedom in every way possible.

The group said: “There was a time when it was a taboo to mention the name ‘Biafra’, but today the president of Nigeria cannot desist from mentioning her, the media/television stations are discussing her and newspapers are incomplete without mentioning Biafra.

“Who, can dispute that Biafra is here already? As Crimea left Ukraine for Russia, and they could not be stopped, so Biafra will eject from Nigeria in due course. No union is formed by force or under duress. Two cannot walk together except they agree.

“Mr Nigerian President, you cannot force us to be a part of your blood letting and blood filled Nigeria. Your will cannot be enforced on us, we will not succumb to threats.

“We are demanding and not begging for our legal rights as laid down by the United Nations, in which Nigeria is a signatory to. We hope to achieve this without options, there are many entrances and ways to the market.”

“Well, the Avengers have made it clear, no more oil to steal, Go and develop your own lands and let us be. Stop stealing from us, we do not need hookworms and tapeworms in our systems sucking up our wealth. Desist from talking dirty! Biafra is here to stay!”

The Nigerian president made the announcement barely 24 hours after a stay-at-home protest by the Biafran supporters in the eastern part of the country to express their displeasure with the All Progressives Congress led government.

Buhari who has just returned back to the country from the United States of America, where he attended the 71st United Nations General Assembly, restated his determination that the Biafrans are not getting any referendum.

MMM Crashes in Zimbabwe, Millions in Tears Over Lost Money
Lots of Zimbabweans are in a financial trauma as you read this, all thanks to the popular Ponzi scheme called MMM .

Thousands of people living in Zimbabwe, among them civil servants, vendors and more, were said to have lost thousands of dollars to fraudulent online pyramid scheme MMM Global Zimbabwe after the system collapsed recently.

The social financial network, which relied on an accelerating number of new members to pay off the old, abruptly terminated its services without any prior notice last week leaving participants stranded.

Iharare.co reports that these Zimbabweans joined the online investment scheme with the sole aim of “getting rich quickly”. It was said that the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe warned its people about the system, saying the
scheme was fraudulent.

The scheme prides itself as a mutual aid fund under which recruited members contribute money to assist others and are promised investment returns of 30 percent per month. Some of the people left counting their
losses told The Herald that they received emails that the scheme had been suspended until September 15.

One of the participants, Mr Tinashe Muza of Harare said: “All along things were moving in the right direction and we now have nowhere to claim our investments. When we started putting our funds in the scheme one could get assistance within seven days but things later changed to 14 days and when we were shut out the waiting period was 21 days. What it simply means is that the number of people in need of help has outnumbered the number of people joining. Right now we have nowhere to get our money which we invested."
MMM stands for Mavrodi Mondial Moneybox
MMM stands for Mavrodi Mondial Moneybox and takes its name from its founder, Sergei Panteleevich Mavrodi of Russia. He founded MMM in 1989 and the scheme was declared bankrupt three years later leading to the disappearance of Mavrodi until his arrest in 2003.

While some people who were skeptical about the scheme started with small amounts, it is believed some poured in thousands of dollars anticipating higher returns. The RBZ said the schemes were fraudulent as existing investors were ‘paid money not from genuine market investment of their funds, but from contributions made by new investors, until a point when the scheme can no longer attract new investors.”
Sergey Panteleevich Mavrodi
Sergey Panteleevich Mavrodi is a Russian criminal and a former deputy of the State Duma. He is the founder of the МММ series of pyramid schemes

Currently, the scheme is in Nigeria and it is called MMM – Federal Republic of Nigeria. Lots of Nigerians are on the scheme and the scheme actually works (just like how it was working well at first in Zimbabwe). MMM Nigeria, is a Ponzi scheme that originated in Russia that has now set up in Nigeria.

Wikipedia says the company was involved in one of the biggest Ponzi schemes in the 1990s. It was estimated that thousands of people lost up to $10 billion dollars.

Well, a lot of people think the scheme is legit and not a scam but the history of the company says the opposite. Only time will tell.

Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) investigators probing ex-First Lady Patience Jonathan’s link with five choice buildings, including a N5billion hotel in Abuja, have unearthed seven additional properties believed to be owned by her.

The detectives were in Port Harcourt (Rivers State) and Yenagoa (Bayelsa State) all week trying to establish whether four properties in the two cities truly belong to Mrs. Jonathan.

The Nation can now confirm that the assignment led the investigators to suspect that seven more properties including the former Customs Service officers mess in Port Harcourt and a plot of land under construction were acquired by her.

Others in the Rivers State capital are: two duplexes at 2/3 Bauchi Street; landed property with blocks at Ambowei Street; three Luxury apartments of 4-bedroom each at Ambowei Street; and Grand View Hotel on Airport road.

Those in Yenagoa are: two marble duplexes at Otioko GRA by Isaac Boro Expressway; Glass House on Sani Abacha Expressway which serves as office of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board; Akemfa Etie Plaza by AP filling Station, Melford Okilo Road; and Aridolf Resort, Wellness and Spa
along Sani Abacha Expressway.

The anti-graft agency, which says it has so far recovered N1b and secured 24 convictions in the South South, may invoke Section 7 of the EFCC Establishment Act 2004 on the affected properties after due verification, sources said yesterday.

Already, the EFCC has written to the Head of the Civil Service in Bayelsa State demanding the pay status and allowances of Mrs. Jonathan during her tenure as a Permanent Secretary.

It also sought explanation on whether or not she was paid in dollars, besides travelling estacodes, while in office.

The investigators are already back in Abuja to continue their assignment.
