With just four days ahead of Election Day, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump leads his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton by five percent, a new Los Angeles Times/USC poll said Friday.
The survey carried out among 2,094 US residents showed that 47.5 percent would vote for Trump and 42.5 for Clinton.
Los Angeles Times is based in California which is traditionally a strongly Democratic state.
Clinton’s lead against Trump in various polls has eroded since Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director James Comey last week announced the reopening of a probe into Clinton’s use of a private computer server during her term as the US secretary of state.
The FBI disclosed that it had found 650,000 emails stored on a shared laptop computer of former congressman Anthony Weiner and his estranged wife, longtime Clinton aide Huma Abedin.
The 2016 presidential election is set for November 8 and all eyes will be set on U.S.
