Clinton was diagnosed with pneumonia on Friday yet her illness was only revealed after her apparent collapse on Sunday.
She has since been resting in her home in Chappaqua, New York, and has not made a public appearance since her fall, where she was helped into her vehicle by her security team.
Clinton has since cancelled her trip to California, where she was due to appear on the Ellen DeGeneres show, along with her trip to Las Vegas where she was due to appear in campaigning events.
President Obama and former President and husband Bill Clinton have been campaigning for Hillary in her absence.
A recent poll shows less than half of US voters believe Clinton's claims that pneumonia is due to ill-health - with 46 per cent of those saying they did not trust the politician's answer.

In a bid to deflect criticism from her campaign, husband Bill said that Hillary was doing "just fine" and that "she just got dehydrated".
Her campaign team admitted to being too slow to release information about the Democratic nominees illness but they will provide more of her medical records in a bid to convince US voters she is fit to become President.
Republican rival Donald Trump has claimed health had become "an issue" and said he would be releasing details about his own medical records.
He had hinted Clinton was unfit to become US President, as she "lacks the mental and physical stamina".
