Cristiano Ronaldo might not be too pleased when he sees this answer from Gareth Bale.
The Portugal star’s dedication to keeping himself in tip-top shape is well known as Real Madrid’s coaches and players often reveal the extent of Ronaldo’s obsessive approach to training and fitness.
Even in Ronaldo’s own film, the Madrid forward was doing press-ups and sit-ups with his own son.
So when Gareth Bale was asked to pick Madrid’s best trainer, it was a bit of a shock when Ronaldo wasn’t the name that immediately sprung to mind.
‘For me, Luka Modric,’ Bale told talkSPORT.
‘He’s the best trainer. He always seems to always be consistent, and seeing passes that no one else sees.
‘Obviously being with him at Tottenham and here at Real Madrid, I’ve been able to witness it many times.’
