MTN Nigeria has agreed to pay the $1.7 billion (N300 bn) fine imposed on them by the Federal Government of Nigerial following their failure to deactivate 5.1 million unregistered sim cards. In a statement released today June 10th, the company said the fine will be paid within a space of 3 years.
