President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived in New York, USA ahead of his participation at 71st Session of the UN General Assembly.
While in New York for the 71st Session of the UN General Assembly, Buhari will attend series of meetings as well as side events, which are of significant interest to Nigeria.
He was welcomed at the airport by Governor Abubakar Yari of Zamfara,
Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos state amongst other government top
officials.

His arrival also came just before an explosion in a crowded district of New York City was reported.
At least 29 people were said have sustained injuries from the blast.
