Leicester City Record-signing Ahmed Musa Scores Brace Against Barcelona in International Champions Cup

Premier League champions Leicester City were in action against Barcelona in Stockholm yesterday for the International Champions Cup .

A number of new signings featured in the game , including Ron - Robert Zieler, Bartosz Kapustka, Nampalys

Mendy, and ultimately , record signing , Ahmed Musa was the star of the match.

Barca ’s Munir scored a brace but it was Musa , Leicester’s record signing at £ 16.6 m , who caught the

eye by scoring a special solo goal.

Musa dragged his side into the game within the first two minutes after the restart .

The Nigerian international picked up the ball in his own half before embarking on a run that showed off his pace , beating a number of Barcelona defenders before slotting past goalkeeper Jordi Masip. Musa has since scored a second for Leicester , cutting Barcelona’s lead to just one goal.

The match ended 4 - 2 in Barcelona’s favour .
