French publication RMC Sport reports that new premier League champions, Leicester city have already agreed personal terms with Nice for the French Under-21 international Nampalys Mendy.
The Foxes have reportedly targeted the £12million-rated midfielder as a potential replacement for N'Golo Kante, who has been linked with a move away this summer.
The Frenchman only arrived at the King Power Stadium last summer, but has attracted the attention of Arsenal and Chelsea after a stunning debut campaign in England.
The Premier League pair are both reportedly willing to meet the 25-year-old's release clause, which is believed to be in the region of £20m.
Kante revealed at the end of last month that he's not prepared to make a decision on his club future until after this summer's Euro 2016 campaign.
When asked about his future, Kante said: “I do not pay too much attention to everything that is said. For now, I am at Leicester and just focussing on the Euros.”
