VOTERS now have until midnight tomorrow (June 9) to register to vote in the EU referendum, after the government extended the deadline.
The deadline for registration was supposed to be yesterday, but a computer glitch meant that some people were unable to sign up.
A last-minute surge in demand was blamed for the technical problems. Users reported a page displaying the message "504 Gateway Time-out" instead of the online registration form.
