Nigeria President, Muhammadu Buhari will pay a working visit to Lagos State for two days.
This would be the
President Buhari's first official visit to Lagos since he assumed office
almost a year ago.
Further quotes from the commissioner are stated below:
“It is a testimony
to the landmark achievements of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode in the last
one year, as well as the good working relationship between Lagos State
and the Federal Government.”
"The President will later in the day be
hosted to a reception rally by the state government at the Tafawa Balewa
Square, where he will also commission and hand over security equipment
and vehicles contributed by the Ambode-led administration to security
agencies to beef up security in the state."
“Activities for the first day of the
President’s visit would be rounded off with a state banquet in his
honour at the Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island.”
However, Governor Ambode has expressed his gladness with regards to
the President's visit, and that Lagosians were looking forward to welcome the President.
