The blockbuster hit "Pokemon Go" broke the world record for a mobile game in five categories, including the most downloads in the first month after the launch.
"Pokemon Go" logged 130 million downloads during the month following the game's July 6 release in the U.S. and other markets, as certified by the Guinness World Records as of Tuesday. The viral phenomenon also set the record for the fastest time to gross $100 million in revenue, at 20 days.
The smartphone game from U.S. software developer Niantic and an affiliate of Japan's Nintendo also raked in the most revenue ($206.5 million), led the most international sales charts simultaneously and topped the most international download rankings simultaneously -- all for a game's first month.
